Fishing Terrestrial
Event Ends: 2010-09-04
Fishing Terrestrial, Sepember 2 & 4, by Western Rivers Fly Fisher. As hatches diminish as the season winds down, terrestrials become an important part of a trout diet. Most angler approach fishing terrestrials with a hopper imitation of some kind, but unless you put as much thought into how you fish terrestrials as you do mayflies and the other aquatic insects that trout key on, you are limiting your success. This class will start in a class room, breaking down the various terrestrials that are important to a trout, their season, and fishing techniques. It will finish on the water, where after you learn to identify key terrestrial habitat and effective ways to present a fly to get better results, you'll be able to put your new found skills to the test. Cost: $50.00 Time: 6:30pm Location: Shop & Provo River
