Free Trips
I've resolved to go fishing and/or hiking one a week. I enjoy having people accompany me. My kids are grown and have busy lives, so they can't come as often as in the past. I get out more often than any of my friends. So I need more friends - my fishing buddies.
Below I'll post info on my upcoming trips. If you are interested then let me know - let's go fishing.
Lake Powell - Serious Fishing Trip - April 26-29
Peak spring fishing for striped bass and smallmouth bass should happen in late April or early May. If the weather is good, action should be great the first weekend of May. If the weather is not good I will postpone the trip.
I can accommodate 1-3 people. I would love to take people who are new to fishing Lake Powell.
I guarantee we will have fun, but make no other promises. I am not a guide and I do not charge anything. (You just cover your own personal expenses.) I have always catch fish at Powell but some tirps are more productive than others. If the weather is good we will probably catch a lot of fish.
My boat is old but sound.
During summer, the water is warm and it is fun to ski, tube and play. During spring the air will be warm but the water will be cool - probably too cool to enjoy playing in it. I'm going to fish.
I'll camp on the beach. I haven't yet decided what part of the lake. I'll watch the fishing reports and conditions before deciding.
