The public still has an opportunity to participate in the debate over whether to close a 1.5 mile section of the Provo River above Utah Lake. Provo City provided the information below:

A second Public Workshop has been scheduled January 26, 2012, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Lakeview Elementary, 2899 West 1390 North, Provo, Utah to help identify potential recreation uses for the last mile or so of channel, IF the lower Provo River is moved and a delta restored north of its current location.

This workshop is a follow-up to one held January 12, 2012. Due to space limitations, not everyone who attended was able to participate. This second
workshop has been scheduled to provide another opportunity for participation
