North Creek just inside Zion Park
We include it here because its plunge pool makes a great swimming hole. Park at the sign that marks the national park boundary. Follow the fence south to the rim of the canyon, then hike up-canyon a short distance until you find a faint trail that provides access to the canyon. You can see the waterfall from the rim. Total hiking distance is about 1.5 miles. If you stay on the trail the hike is moderately strenuous, over loose rock. If you get off the trail it becomes strenuous, over cliffs, through thick brush and cacti.
