Description (Edit This) Fontenelle is about 20 miles long when the reservoir is full, and has approximately 56 miles of shoreline. Anglers may fish the Green River above and below the reservoir as well as Fontenelle itself. There are campsites available at Fontenelle Creek Campground. They are developed sites with bathrooms and water. The fee is $5, but there are also other primitive areas to camp along the lake, free of charge. The roads to the reservoir provide year-round access. Kokanee fishing becomes great about mid-May - June. Lures and Techniques (Edit This) Live bait, spinners and flies have been known to catch big trout.
