There are two campgrounds, one on the eastern side of the lake, one on the southwestern side- just off BLM road 5106 (From Boulder, go north on 191, then get on 5106).

3,500 acres of good, fishable water.

Boulder Lake is a popular location to try to catch golden trout.

Boulder Lake is in the central-western part of the state. It is north of Boulder and east of Pinedale, Wyoming. From Boulder take Boulder Lake Rd. or BLM road 5106.

Golden, brook, brown, rainbow, cutthroat, cutt-bow trout, kokanee, & graylings.

The ice is usually gone by the end of April or mid-May.

Lures and Techniques (Edit This)

The best technique is to troll slowly from a fishing boat, with your lure sinking moderately deep.

Off-shore fishing is fairly successful at Boulder Lake. Just find a deeper area with rocks to cast off from, and reel in.
